Assassin’s Creed 3 scores good
Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed 3 to the public today and the first batch of reviews to have come out show that the latest in the series is again doing pretty well.
The game has a current metacritic score of 85% on Xbox360, while on PS3 it scores even 87%.
An overview:

- Destructoid: 75
- Playstation Official Magazine UK: 70
- VideoGamer: 70
- Joystiq: 70
Joystiq scores as one of the lowest and this mainly because they seem to feel part 3 has lost the charm of the original games, something also Destructoid hints at in their conclusion:
Cohesion (or lack thereof) is the main issue with Assassin’s Creed III. There are dozens of secondary elements which make up the content of the game, but they offer little in terms of reward and rarely contribute anything to the Assassin/Templar conflict. While the game is often quite fun, beautiful to look at and empowering to the player, it doesn’t offer much challenge beyond the endurance necessary to complete all of the single-player campaign elements.
Medal of Honor scores bad, end of the franchise?
