Dead or Alive
Dead or Alive is a spectacular martial arts tournament where the winner goes home with no less than 10 million dollars. That’s probably enough to get anyone going but Katsumi, princess of a Japanese clan has an additional motive to go: her brother went last year and never returned. Nobody has ever found his body though, so she’s convinced he’s still alive.
However, if she wants to find out the truth, she’ll have to stay in the race long enough to be able to do some investigation on the side.
Sound and Vision:
No problems on the image front, everything looks sparkly like a videogame!
Same goes for the sound, it’s truly awesome with lots of detail and plenty use of the surround speakers and subwoofer.
Extras:
We all know RCV doesn’t believe in the concept of extras so don’t expect any here
Conclusion:
I can be very brief in my conclusion: DoA looks like the videogames with the same name in every sense and it goes even so far that certain scenes seem to have come straight out of one of them. So if you want to check it out, you can just as well play the games, at least you’ll be doing something then.
