Terminal Reality has released a playable demo of BloodRayne, allowing you to try out their imminent blood-soaking third-person action game that puts you into the leather boots of a female Dhampir (half-vampire). There are however currently no details on the contents of the hefty demo.

Activision sends word of a new add-on pack for Star Trek Starfleet Command III, expanding the recent 3D tactical starship combat sequel by Taldren. This pack contains a bonus mission that allows you to fly the Scimitar warship from the new Star Trek Nemesis movie, along with concept art and illustrations from the film.

An updated demo of Combat Mission 2: Barbarossa to Berlin is now available, bringing this free sample of the 3D turn-based war game by Big Time Software and Battlefront.com to version 1.01, in sync with last month's retail patches. As before this release brings a huge list of changes, inasmuch they apply to the demo and not the full game.

In a surprise move, Eidos Interactive has released a second playable demo for Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, once again allowing you to step into the shoes of Codename 47 if you don't own the full game yet. This demo contains a mission where you're attending a party, and have to kill a general and retrieve a suitcase.
