Dragon Age 3 announced
Big news from Bioware and Electronic Arts today as they’ve announced Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. No word yet on which platforms it will arrive, nor what the story is going to be all about, but the devs did reveal that it’s will be coming our way late next year.
Coming in late 2013, Dragon Age 3: Inquisition combines the storytelling legacy BioWare is known for, with deep RPG gameplay, all on a brand new RPG game engine underpinned by EA’s critically-acclaimed Frostbite™ 2 technology.
Aaryn Flynn, General Manager of BioWare Edmonton and BioWare Montreal, noted that the devs have been working on it for almost two years already and have been listening to their fans to make this next part the best possible. He continued:
We want to give fans what they’re asking for – a great story with choices that matter, a massive world to explore, deep customization and combat that is both tactical and visceral
Executive Producer Mark Darrah updated his blog with an open letter that gives some background information on himself as well as pretty much the same stuff as that was in the press release. You still may want to check it out though.
