Movie:
Neville, Dennis and Oz go to Germany in search of work. They end up on a construction site in Düsseldorf, where they meet other British workers. Although they try to make the best of it, conditions are not so great and thinking of wifes and kids back home is inevitable.
 
Sound and Vision:
An eighties television series, so 4:3 is the only available screen format. There are a few compression errors and some grain present, but next to that there are no problems.

Since the sound is mainly for dialogues, it doesn't bother to only have 2.0.

Conclusion:
Auf Wiedersehen is part of BBC's comedy collection, although it is actually more drama with some funny moments. It's tragic humour, so to speak. Nonetheless, the great drama, comedy, natural acting and some touching moments make this series worth watching.
