Movie:
Nick hates his boss, Mr. Harken, as he constantly blackmails him with the idea of getting a promotion. Dale has his boss, Dr. Julia Harris, as she constantly tries to rape him while he just wants to get married with his girlfriend. Kurt likes his boss until the man dies and his psychopatic son takes over.

The three friends are fed up so much that they decide there's no option left but to kill each other's bosses. But things aren't as easy as they seem in the movies...
 
Sound and Vision:
Horrible Bosses comes with squeeky clean image quality that may have a small bit of noise in a couple of scenes, but not enough to distract. For the rest we really have nothing to complain about as textures are superb, depth is great, contrast is perfect, and blacks are really deep.

The sound focuses on the front and dialogues and these are perfect, but you can wonder why you have that nice surround system in your living room as the rears don't get used. Or hardly.

Conclusion:
Comedies get released all the time and mostly we get to see rather boring romantic comedies. So when we get a true funny movie without relationships getting in the way, we already get our hopes up that we may actually have a laugh.

And with Horrible Bosses our expectations finally get fulfilled again. The movie doesn't rely on the standard girl-meets-boy-thing-go-wrong plot but on a stupid plan turning bad and in the end things coming together nicely. Yup, still not original but it does work this time thanks to a great cast, a relatable subject and some sublime jokes.

Especially Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston manage to stand out of the crowd. Spacey is perfectly cast as the jealous and almost sado-masochistic Mr. Harken who's on a major ego-trip, while Aniston is as sexy as she's ever been as the nymphomaniac Dr. Julia Harris. One would almost wonder why Dale doesn't just say "yes" to Julia. But of course then we wouldn't have a movie, now would we?

One of the best comedies of late.
