Movie:
Veronica Mars lives as a teenage girl in the city of Neptune California. Her dad used to be the local sheriff but after Veronica's friend Lilly Kane was found dead and her dad suspected the influential Jake Kane, he lost his job. Since then, Veronica's dad works as a private investigator and Veronica herself helps him with this...
Sound and Vision:
The image at times looks a bit soft and misses some detail. Also there's quite some grain present. The colors look bright and also the contrast is good.
The 2.0 dolby digital track does its job nicely but we would have preferred a 5.1 track which is getting more common these days.
Extras:
Some deleted scenes
Conclusion:
Veronica Mars is a series with potential and looks a bit like Buffy without the supernatural part. Unfortunately the series didn't manage to capture the audience in the US and got dropped after three seasons.
Warner made the choice to split up the season so we've only had the chance to check out the first 12 episodes with more coming out later. A weird choice seeing in the US the series was released in one box.
