Movie:
In the third season of Hotel Babylon Charlie Edwards has become manager of the hotel but he quickly finds out that this isn't the easy job he thought it would be. The board feels that although he might be a good manager, someone additional has to be added to the crew so sends over a woman who will be taking care of the PR.

Of course each episode has its special events and as such we get to see a fashion event, a bad review of the food in the restaurant and the introduction of a new chef, a celebrity marriage, the audition for a musical being held, some financial woes and even a complete movie crew shooting at the hotel.
 
Sound and Vision:
The image lacks a bit of detail but overall still does its job, something that unfortunately can't be said of the sound. Several scenes and even a complete espisode have really badly positioned sound making it as if the actors are standing behind you instead of on the TV in front of you.

Conclusion:
The third season of Hotel Babylon isn't bad but contains a lot of changes so one could almost talk about a reboot. Several characters get replaced and it takes a couple of episodes to get used to the new faces. As such, I would say this box is more a transition season that gets you ready for season four but it does need some getting used to.

The storylines are similar qua setup as in the previous seasons and the comedy is still present in a subtle way as it always has, but some of the familiarity is gone and Dexter Fletcher (as concierge Tony Casemore) seems to remain as the most interesting character.

Season 3 lacks some stability due to all the changes and is therefore not up to the level of the previous ones. Let's hope season 4 brings back that feeling we got from the first two boxes.
