Since the beginning of the 21st Century the ultra-rich have come to dominate the entire planet. Gradually they moved away from the crime-ridden cesspits that humanity's cities had become. With their immense wealth they created their own version of paradise, segregated towns called 'Subates', policed by their own private forces. Within the Subates the rich live a life of picture-book tranquillity - forgetting the heaving masses of downtrodden humanity who were left with no hope, only despair
