Half-Life 2: Episode 1 is an all-new episode created by Valve that extends the Half-Life 2 single player adventure. The player reprises the role of Dr. Gordon Freeman, who must immediately face the repercussions of his actions in City 17 and the Citadel. Freeman reconnects with Alyx Vance and her robot, Dog. As they continue their support of the resistance's battle against the Combine forces. You've done critical damage to the Citadel. The whole place is going to go up, taking out City 17 and what's in its immediate radius. You and Alyx are leading the flight from the city getting up close and personal with some of the creatures and sights from the end of Half-Life 2.
