New writers hired for upcoming God of War movie
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, who are most well-known for writing four of the Saw movies, have been hired by Universal to rewrite the script for the upcoming God of War movie.
Next to Saw, the two have also worked with Guillermo Del Toro on Pacific Rim.
The initial draft for the God of War movie was done by David Self, but it seems he’s taking a step back from the writing and will focus solely on his job as executive producer. Additional producers are Charles Roven and Alex Gartner via Atlas Entertainment.
The writers from Saw? Well, then there’s one thing you can be sure of: there will be plenty of gore once God of War hits the big screen!
