Gamecenter whipped up an article in which they've lined up the 10 worst games ever made according to their own opinions with Frogger 3D being the worst ever[BLOCK]Why it failed: Frogger still stands as one of the greatest games of all time, and many generations have at one time or another been addicted to navigating the nimble amphibian across traffic and swamps. The idea of modernizing the graphics and gameplay doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Why bother when the original is still addictive and fun to this day? With poor execution, this "update" had "out to make a quick buck" written all over it. The 3D-accelerated graphics were hardly impressive (and barely worked on most systems), and an awkward camera ruined the platform-game-like action.

But proving once again that people are idiots, the game sold in huge numbers. Perhaps it was the half-baked nostalgia for days gone by of putting quarters on a machine to reserve "next game," but this game had no redeeming value. And that's why Frogger 3D is the worst game of all time--Hasbro exploited our nostalgia and suckered in millions of gamers in the process. The only compelling reason to pick up this game is to understand the violation of this classic franchise, and share in our pain[/BLOCK]
