1.11 patch for Diablo II in the works

Blizzard announced on the Battle.net website that a new patch (v1.11) for their hack 'n slash fest Diablo II is on its way. Nice of them, definitely for a game that is already five years old.

Besides some expected bugfixes there will also be new content apparently. Fansite Diabloii.net gathered the following infobits:

No details have been disclosed yet but from a post released on the Chinese website a few sparse details have been translated. There is mention of party only skills, changes to mercenaries, new runewords, a new Demon named Lilith and from the four new shots released on Battle.Net there looks to be a battle with the big guy (or a clone) in Tristram.

We've put those four screenshots (with the new demon Lilith displayed in full glory on two of them) in our database. A release is 'imminent', the Battle.net realms will be down on August 1st so maybe that's when the 1.11 update will be released.

if ur using windos vista, you will probobly have trobles with the game, i suggesst downloading drivers to get it to run, but the unable to connect, is ur internet connection...although ive had computers that i couldnt get to pick up the connection for anything then diablo2 picked it up right away...so try looking for drivers and upgrades, and if that dont work...REFORMAT
