14-year-old steals Xbox, then calls Microsoft
After reading this story, I had to think back to all those dull television series about dumb criminals, but apparently they exist in real life too.
A 14-year-old kid from New-Zealand entered a house and stole an Xbox 360 with several games. No big deal? Wait until you read the next part.
The clever guy thought it was weird his Xbox 360 couldn't connect to Xbox Live, because it was registered to someone else. That's why he personally contacted the Microsoft helpdesk. He also asked them to send him a new power supply, which he had forgotten to steal.
The police had put pressure on Microsoft for two weeks, before they could finally get the adress of the boy.

Turns out if you try this, the cops do show up at your house and take you away. The criminal mastermind has since confessed to the theft and will be charged for theft of about $700 dollars worth of someones property. Also, with being an idiot.
