1.400 Wii consoles sold in 10 minutes
It looks like the appeal of Nintendo's Wii console isn't going downhill as Computerandvideogames is reporting that Amazon replenished their stock to see all 1.400 new units being sold within 10 minutes
Nintendo is sending out just about 1.8 million Wii's a month and still doesn't seem able to keep up with demand. I'm betting Nintendo execs are all having a big smile on their face and will be receiving major bonusses this Christmas
Amazon apparently sold 1,400 consoles in just ten minutes, when stock was renewed last week. A similar picture is painted at retailers across the country, as the widely sold-out Wii becomes harder to find with every passing day.
The craze has predictably pushed up prices of the console - some are selling on eBay and Amazon (second hand) for over £300. Just as Reggie said would be the case, there just aren't enough consoles for everyone
