In The Witcher you play a Witcher (what a suprise).

These Witchers are trained to fight since their childhood. They're part of a brotherhood who protects people against werewolves, zombies and so on.
Unfortunately they are troubled themselves by mutations and they have to fight against their own chimeras too.
