The number (and the average quality) of videogames at a console's launch usually isn't earth-shattering (take the X360 for example). However, Nintendo seems to be hellbent on making the launch of the Wii something to be remembered. If you count all of the confirmed launch games, you end up at a stunning 27 titles. Next to a large portion of first-party games, the Wii will have an impressive third-party backing.
