At 1Up there's word that one Chris Lewis, a Microsoft Executive, confims that there will be approximately (read: only) 300.000 XBox 360's available for the european launch on the 2nd of december.

It goes without saying that Europe will be facing the same shortage as the States, as they're expected to be soldl out just as fast.
