3D Realms on Duke Nukem Forever development
George Broussard from 3D Realms has posted a couple of words on the official 3D Realms forums to "apologise" for the long development time of Duke Nukem Forever
We started over a couple of times and had some false starts. We had some technical issues early on that really kept us from progressing. It isn't as if we've worked on the same game all this time.
We've been on our current version since late 2002/early 2003 and things that we made then are still in the game and intended to ship.
