3D Realms playing us all?

Duke playing us all?

Those that are into conspiracy theories might do good to check out this. Indeed! The domain Savedukenukem was registered before 3D Realms stated to the world their were closing their doors!

The domain was registered on 5/7/09, the very same day that 3DRealms announced it was closing. Furthermore, if I recall, that news did not break to the internet at large until very late in the day - sometime in the evening. I haven't registered many domains in my time, but in my experience, it takes at least a few hours to process, up to around 24 hours

To make it even more suspicious: Saveduke.com was even registered the day before the announcements.

So what do you think? Seeing that lately we've seen more footage from Duke Nukem Forever than in the last decade, would it be such a stretch to hear 3D Realms state during E3 that everything was a joke and that the game will arrive this coming Fall season?

looks like a person trying to exploit recent events. at the bottom of the page it links to a cafe press page where you can buy white/black shirts with the words "Save Duke" on it for $25 dollars. Its a fake.
