Good news for Blizzard, less good for other companies that are planning to release a MMORPG: World of Warcraft already has 5 million abonnees.
5 million times 12 euros a month is about 60 million euros turnover a month. A free update is the least they can do!
Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that World of Warcraft, its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), has surpassed five million customers worldwide. The subscription-based MMORPG launched approximately one year ago in North America, Australia, and New Zealand and has since released in multiple countries throughout Europe and Asia.
5 million times 12 euros a month is about 60 million euros turnover a month. A free update is the least they can do!
