6 months until Spore

During a conversation with BBC Radio 5 Live, Will Wright pointed out that the ambitious Spore-project will be finished in about six months. With this, he takes the edge of certain rumors claiming the release date had been moved to early 2009.

"Spore will be roughly available in six months time, and is currently undergoing extensive testing".

Patrick Buechener of Maxis did indicate earlier that the console versions will all be ports of the PC game which will be available in stores by the time they start working for X360 and PS3. Conclusion: console owners will have to wait just a bit longer than those PC-gamers amongst us!
