Official Playstation Magazine knows more about a new entry in the Silent Hill franchise, coming to PlayStation 3. The Brits interviewed Akira Yamaoka, producer and music composer of the celebrated series.

He told them the new game will enter a totally different path. The frightening atmosphere from the previous game will make way for psychological horror. What he means with that remains to be seen.

Konami didn't confirm the news yet, but a new Silent Hill for PS3 seems logical to us.
