Hardware giant AMD has made a deal with Valve to box some games with Radeon graphics cards and thus rewarding the Radeon buyers. As soon as you insert your card and make a Steam account on the website, your new hardware will be automatically detected and you'll get acces to free versions of Half-Life²: Lost Coast and Half-Life²: Deathmatch.

Future plans are that other Steam products will also become available with the purchase of newer AMD/ATI graphics card. Let's say you're planning to buy a new 2900 XT. If that's the case you'll be rewarded with some free downloads like Half-Life²: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress.

Goodie goodie...

True true, yet I don't think that will help the sales of the ATI cards. The second idea of adding full games like Portal and team fortress however sounds a lot more atractive.
