Activision: No idea when Elite will come to PC
After miscommunicating that they didn't know IF Elite would be coming to PC, Activision corrected themselves and said they just don't know when. Well, that's quite the reassurance.
And we thought the issues with EA's Origin were already bad?
“We misspoke. The goal has always been to provide a PC offering for Elite. The timing for that free offering is still being determined, so stay tuned for news on that.”
The original tweet (which is now offline) stated the following:“We are working towards a universal Elite experience but we cannot guarantee if or when a version will be available for the PC.”
Call of Duty: Elite has been all but stable since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on consoles with only intermittent connectivity for PS3 and Xbox 360 users. Beachhead, makers of Elite, has stated it's “working its butt off” but with an unstable release on console, it doesn't look like we'll be seeing Elite arrive on PC very soon.And we thought the issues with EA's Origin were already bad?
