Activision plans 40 Xbox 360 titles in 2006
Next to a price increase for next-gen titles, Activision's CEO has promised something else as well: at least 40 titles will be released by the company in 2006 for the XBox 360:
Quite impressive seeing that up until now they've only released 36 games for the current Xbox.
Also he let everyone know that in 2006 price drops will be done for current generation games. Probably to make up for the increase of next-gen titles...
Activision CEO Robert Kotick has announced plans for his company to release 40 Xbox 360 games next year—that’s more than 3 games a month! Interestingly enough, the Activision website—which is only compatible with Netscape and IE—lists only two Xbox 360 titles, Call of Duty 2 & Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland; in addition, Activision has only 36 current-gen Xbox games.
