Age of Conan not coming to X360 after all

Speaking with VG247, Funcom's Erling Ellingson has said we can forget about seeing Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures on the Xbox360 anytime soon. If ever.

Development for the MMO originally started out for both the PC and the X360, but while the PC version was released back in 2008, and the devs last year still said they were working on the X360 version, it seems that console version has now been canned.

Ellingson did point out Funcom is still working on console development, but we should get our hopes up for Age of Conan:

“there are no plans on releasing an Xbox 360 version any time soon”

“It’s important to say that we are working on console technology internally, definitely, for our graphics engine,” he said.

“The options are there, basically.”
