Age of Conan offering at least 250 hours of gameplay

Funcom announced that you'll be playing for about 250 hours until reaching level 80 in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. This is what Gaute Godager had to say:

"We have budgeted - because that's what you do, you budget people's time when you make these types of games - a levelling curve which is on average 250 hours of gameplay."

He also added that you'll be leveling up much faster in the beginning of the game, because it's just plain fun and many gamers don't have as much time as they'd want. If you've played for about 2, 3 hours, it'll give you enough satisfaction.

"I'm not really a hardcore player, I pretend to be," said Godager. "I said that I want to make a game that I can enjoy. When I sit down for a gaming session, I use two to three hours, and in that time I would like to gain a level."

Conan hits the shelves this friday.

yeah but thoe guys played beta and are just rushing like hell. then they can wait for a couple of weeks till the rest of the server catches up to them so they can do stuff together :)

It's an mmo. Who cares about how many hours you take to go to lvl80. What is more importants is how many hours of fun will you have after you reach lvl80.
