Age of Sail 2 Preview
A new preview on Age of Sail 2 is up over at The Daily Telefrag[BLOCK]3D is all around - Age of Sail 2 is not an exception. Every single detail in the game is thought through till the very end. Each ship, every tackle is drawn at a very high level. Faraway islands and archipelagos are seen as soon as they appear on the horizon. The weather can change in a matter of minutes - sun was just shining and now your fleet is being attacked by a fierce storm. And the sea... the sea is overwhelming - just look at those light green azure waves! Words will never be enough and I wont be able to tell you about all the amenities of the game's graphics. A total triumph of 3D. Let me tell you a bit more about the detail level in the game. The islands are populated by people living in cities. The cities are protected by forts that are inhabited by men of perfect eyesight and excellent firing skills. But even despite that, you'll still have a chance to conquer them and set to fire the cities, spreading ashes of civilizations into the wind. Still looking skeptical at Age of Sail 2? How about the opportunity to change your ship's formation? And what do you say if you'll have to measure the depth of the sea bottom before each mission in order to avoid bumping into reefs and shoals. Each ship has a crew, correct? Well in AoS2 all the characters are in full 3D. you'll hear how their bodies fall the ground, how they laugh and worry before each mission. Impressive? You bet! [/BLOCK]
