Alan Wake officially canned for PC

Eventhough the game was originally announced for X360 AND PC, Microsoft has now confirmed Alan Wake is only coming to X360.
Here's what a Microsoft spokesperson had to say:
Guess we know now. Microsoft again showing just how much they're interested in their own "Games for Windows" program...
Here's what a Microsoft spokesperson had to say:
"Some games are more suited for the intimacy of the PC, and others are best played from the couch in front of a larger TV screen. We ultimately realised that the most compelling way to experience "Alan Wake" was on the Xbox 360 platform, so we focused on making it an Xbox 360 exclusive. Both Microsoft and Remedy have long histories in PC game development. This decision was about matching this specific game to the right platform."
The game was originally announced in 2005 for both PC and X360. A year later, Microsoft started saying the game would benefit from Windows Vista and might even be exclusive for Vista on the PC. Then all went quiet until Remedy Entertainment stated it was up to Microsoft to decide whether or not a PC version would ever see the (flash)light.Guess we know now. Microsoft again showing just how much they're interested in their own "Games for Windows" program...
