Alone in the Dark goes episodic
Over at 1Up is word that Atari and Eden Games will be releasing their upcoming revival of the Alone in the Dark franchise on XBox360 in an episodic way.
We'll probably hear more about this at E3 where we've got an appointment to check out this new title.
Their approach to gameplay itself is episodic. Eden Games appears to be drawing influence from TV shows like Lost and 24 and creating 30-40 minute chunks of gameplay concluded with a cliffhanger ending and teases about what's ahead. You won't be downloading additional content; the content's just been split up differently.
We'll probably hear more about this at E3 where we've got an appointment to check out this new title.
