i Knew this movie will suck from the first footage i seen if it, the only thing it has in common with the game is it name really.

Bah, Resident Evil and the sequel were awesome 1337 movies and they didn't star know actors and didn't follow the game (completely) either.

Resident Evil starred Mila Jovovich. I wouldn't say she isn't a know actress :)

And Milla Jovovich is indeed a known actress. In my opinion she did a great job as Joan of Arc and as Leeloo (or Lulu or whatever) in The 5th Element. Too bad she had to embarrass herself by starring in such an utter crap Tinseltown blockbuster.

i'm optimistic, but Alone in the dark 4 was a far departure from the feelof the original pastel polygon games that had the backstory seeped in lovecraft, and the only movie that had any cool and lovecraftian was carpenter's in the mouth of madness which couldn't even directly reference lovecraft, (licensing and rights i'd guess) i'm not feelin the trailer but who knows, i doubt it'll have the impact of carby first decending into the basement in the first game.

Boll produces movies faster than I change my underwear. Unless he is Takashi Miike, it will suck.

The user comments at imdb on his upcoming movies are really funny, every movie they grow harder and harder. Starting with "wow this movie sucks" to "come on... let's just kill this director to stop this plague"
