Also Max Payne 3 in trouble?
The Revolting Rockstar Wives seem to have opened a can of worms.
Earlier we reported that apparently the entire Midnight Club series was in jeopardy as well as Red Dead Redemption, and today news broke from another "anonymous source" that Max Payne 3 development isn't going so well either.
I think it certainly wouldn't hurt to hear some decent comments from Rockstar or Take 2 on the matter.
Earlier we reported that apparently the entire Midnight Club series was in jeopardy as well as Red Dead Redemption, and today news broke from another "anonymous source" that Max Payne 3 development isn't going so well either.
According to our source (who, unsurprisingly, asked to be kept anonymous), "Virtually everything said in the original 'Rockstar wives' letter and by current and former Rockstar San Diego employees in the comments applies to my experience at Rockstar Vancouver." The source also alleges an "August 2010" completion window for development of the game, though the source isn't optimistic that'll happen. "The game's story just went through another total re-write earlier this month (the third that I am aware of in the past two years) and that [means] the team would have to have all of the content done by April or May to make that August release date."
Damn, this is starting to look really bad for the development house. Of course, you have to take into account that (former?) disgruntled employees now see the perfect opportunity to strike back at their bosses so we may want to be careful before burrying Rockstar Games already. I think it certainly wouldn't hurt to hear some decent comments from Rockstar or Take 2 on the matter.
