Also Tomb Raider movie gets reboot
Square-Enix has greenlit a new movie with Lara Croft in the lead. Just like with the next game, the movie will be a Tomb Raider reboot.
That's what Variety is telling us and they added that the movie will be released in 2013. No cast or crew is known at this time.
We do know that production is being taken care of by GK Films, the company that previously did Ben Affleck's The Town, The Tourist, and more recently Rango, a new animated movie.

We are very excited to be rebooting what is already a hugely successful film franchise and continuing the Tomb Raider phenomenon.
Those that were hoping for more Angelina Jolie can probably start crying now that it's clear this will be a reboot. At least, if the movie also chooses to tell the first story of Lara, just like the game which will show how Croft strands on an island and needs to survive there as a young woman.In other news:
