Do you also have those quite unknown games that you come across, sometimes just accidently, but which blow you away ? Well, for me Advent Rising is just one of those games.

It's set in the future, when an alien race picks up the plan to hunt down and exterminate an ancient race with superpowers, who once ruled the galaxy. A race called ... humans. You get to be the hero of the day, and save what's left of the human species from annihilation. And for this, you can rely on a shitload of weapons and your superhuman powers.

The Xbox game seems to look and play like a combination of Devil May Cry (the great gunbattle moves), Enter The Matrix (awesome fighting moves and slow-motion) and Halo (the setting). Well, if that didn't convince you, maybe the trailer will.
