America's Army 3 unveiled
It's been a while since we heard from America's Army, the game that might as well be a recruitment poster for the American army. In the by now sort of dated game the player gets the opportunity to fight as, yes indeed, an American soldier.
Launched originally in 2002, the shooter has seen many transformations. As such the graphical engine has been overhauled once before, and various modules have been added to the game over time.
With the announcement of America's Army 3, it's evident the game will change again. Besides implementing the Unreal 3 engine into the game little is known feature-wise at this point.
Our colleagues over at VoodooExtreme already have some screenshots showing what we can expect. To make it easier to spot the differences they have turned it into a sort of before and after, on the right hand side the America's Army 2 images, on the left these of America's Army 3.
