Anno 1404 gets a new trailer
Publisher Ubi Soft Entertainment has certainly taken its time compiling the next Anno 1404 media update.
Now it has finally arrived in the form of a tutorial. This video takes you on a small trip in the Anno 1404 world, or Dawn of Discovery as the title is named across the Big Pond, explaining the civilization levels and the ascension rights, but it must be said that the game is really looking sharp.
The first part seems quite self-explanatory but the second part, ascension rights, explains how developer Related Design tried to really maintain the look and feel of a medieval city. They implemented a system of classes amongst your people which reflects upon your city. This means that the richer you are, the closer you get to live to the centre of the city and vice versa. In that way your city will look like sheds barns on the outer rims but filled with nice looking buildings near the centre.
