Another idiot sues Microsoft
Posted on Tuesday, 26 January 2010 by Speed, source: InformationWeek
It was only a matter of time before someone would sue Microsoft over their "points" system for Xbox LIVE and it seems that time has come.
Samuel Lassoff, an attorney from the Philadelphia area, has decided to launch a "class action lawsuit" against Microsoft for fraud as he claims the company "ripped him off" after he bought Microsoft points and then didn't get to complete his downloads.
Do we need to mention all previous suits were dropped?

Microsoft "engaged in a scheme to unjustly enrich itself through their fraudulent handling" of his account, Lassoff charged in papers filed earlier this week in U.S. District Court for Eastern Pennsylvania.
But Lassoff claimed he and at least "hundreds" of other Xbox Live users have been overcharged. "Microsoft breached that contract by collecting revenues for digital goods and services which were not provided," Lassoff said in his lawsuit

"full refund to all US consumers of all Microsoft Points fraudulently charged to consumers for incomplete or partial downloads of purchased digital goods and services."
The guy isn't doing this for the first time. Previously he also sued Google (his ads became victim of click fraud!), Yahoo, IAC Interactive and last but not least: Bally's Casino in Atlantic City for being attacked by a drunken patron while he was sitting at a poker table.Do we need to mention all previous suits were dropped?
