Another visit to the castle of Wolfenstein?
Exactly, dear Fragland-visitors, Return to Castle Wolfenstein II is probably a fact! Prepare to re-enjoy one of the best multiplayer-formula's extisting. We can read the following on a forum of PlanetWolfenstein:
Is this true or not? We'll see, but different people said in the thread that they also heard it, and one of them even recorded an audio-fragment from Pulse. But there's someone else who says that audio-fragment is from the announcement of Ennemy Territory, so we aren't really sure. If this is true, we'll hopefully receive some more news about it this day.
In a feature on Doom 3 on Pulse (the G4Tech TV show), Todd Hollenshead confirmed that RTCW2 is in development at another studio. There was no mention of the engine it would be on, but i'm guessing the Doom 3 one will be most likely. This was posted over at the GameSpy forums, and a member from #planetdoom IRC on GameSurge who was watching Pulse said the announcement was correct.
