Apple goes shopping: EA or Sony?
Wall Street is being flooded with rumours, one even more insane than the other it seems.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs recently said that the company is saving its money for acquiring a "big fish":

So what would such a "strategic opportunity" possibly be? Well, according to Shaw Wu, an analyst at Kaufman Brothers, Netflix, Facebook or even Electronic Arts seem a viable match.
More intriguing, perhaps, would be if Apple instead switched gears from components and began to pursue companies that deal in the world of content — either companies that deliver content or make it. In the former category, both Mr. Kreher and Shaw Wu, an analyst at Kaufman Brothers, suggested Netflix as a possibility. In the latter category, they pointed to video-game companies, with Mr. Wu highlighting Electronic Arts as a possible match.
Meanwhile, CVG is reporting that finance mag Barron's is even tipping companies like Adobe, Disney and Sony as possible targets for a takeover:Leading financial magazine Barron's is reportedly suggesting that Apple faces "speculation that it could acquire Adobe Systems, Sony, or even Walt Disney".
