PCGamerweb posted a preview on Arcanum[BLOCK]You start out by creating a fully customizable character. The character can be classified into a wide range of races, including Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and even inbred hybrid type creatures. There's a standard attribute system in which you choose the characteristics of your creation by selecting the level of each of the different traits the character possesses. If you excel in one stat it must be sacrificed from another. There are five separate categories in which you choose your traits, which include the basic stats like charisma and strength, derived stats, skills, spells, and technological degrees. This leaves hundreds of possibly combinations that you can choose from to create different characters. [/BLOCK]
