Good news, contrary to what seems to be the trend these days Bohemia Interactive is releasing the demo of their ArmA 2 earlier than expected. Pretty refreshing to get a demo sooner rather than later for a change.

Weighing in at 2.5GB the demo will allow players to try all the tutorial missions, a singleplayer mission called "Trial by Fire" and a multiplayer map called "Mini Warfare". On the latter you can sample three different modes of multiplayer. To add variation players will be getting about 20 vehicles and some 25 weapons. Only a small fraction in comparisson to the 70 weapons and almost 170 vehicles the player will be able to operate in the full game.
