Assassin's Creed continues!
Assassin's Creed hasn't even been spotted in shops yet, and already the developers have a complete franchise in mind. If part one is succesful (and something tells me it will be) they immediatly start with part two, incorporating a multiplayer mode. Besides that, a couple of books with the same main character have been written already.
Assassin's Creed is planned for PC, X360 and PS3 in the near future.

As for the first anon poster saying it will be crap because it has no multiplayer, how do you figure that, do you even play games or have any idea as to what makes a good multiplayer experience, how would it work in multiplayer, it wouldnt and it would be a rubbish multiplayer.
Look at the Splinter Cell games, great single player but crap multiplayer, Lost Planet is the same, if you've got any idea or have atleast played more than 2 games in your life you should be able to tell what games would make good multiplayer and what wouldnt.
Can we just let the first dam game come out and see exactly what its like once we have all played it before damming it to hell and branding it shit.

The game itself is a mix of GTA due to the freedom, though I think it will be MUCH bigger. Three huge cities of Acre, Jerusalem and something else I can't remember, with all the countryside between.
The difference of course is that all the environment will be interactive. Ubisoft say that any object that sticks out by more than an inch will be able ot be used, or grabbed in some way. In GTA it's usually just the ground floor, and a few buildings might have the insides rendered but quite lifeless. Here it's different.
Apparently, the NPCs will be behaving like in Oblivion (leave them alone and spy on them, and they lead some sort of lfie of their own), except much more advanced. I won't be going into details, since it's all in Wikipedia, but its called dynamic crowd behaviour.
Then of course the parkour element which could be summed up as Prince of Persia. This game is the best from GTA, Oblivion, and Prince of Persia, in a beautiful medieval setting, right in the middle of the third crusade. What the hell more could you want? I don't want a multiplayer where everyone has somehow acquired awesome Parkour skills and the vast expanses become lifeless. I'd rather have an awesome singleplayer like in Oblivion. Lack of multiplayer there never made the game any worse.

If it is, then they have me sold for the whole trilogy :)
If it's not, then nothing new when a game promises a lot and delivers little. Just look at STALKER, I waited for so many years for that delayed POS, and it turned out they lied about 3/4 of their promises. Including the fact that the game wasn't open ended at all, and took maybe 10 hours to complete for me.
