Assassin's Creed was one of the games displayed at E3 earlier this year. Today, Ubisoft released a couple of details about this possible top-PS3 game.

The first detail was this: downloadable content will be made available. This could contain loads of extra's like new missions, weapons, ... Another detail was the option where you would be able to choose a coop-mode. This would be a nice multiplayer addition to the game, certainly if you can play it in split-screen with your friends.

Now for the people who haven't really heard about Assassin's Creed. It's a stealth game, set in the times of old (the Medieval to be exact). Your goal in this game is to kill people without being seen or caught in the act. You can do this by just sneaking around or by hiding yourself in a crowd. Another little detail Ubisoft spread was the expected release period: they say it's bound to be in stores in early 2007. This means you'll have to wait a bit to go and play the "hitman of Medieval times".
