Atari gets a new CEO

Posted on Tuesday, 1 April 2008 by Speed, source: Gamedaily
Atari has announced that former Vivendi, Sony-BMG and Universal Interactive veteran Jim Wilson is the company's newest CEO.

Maybe this guy will be capable to get rid of all the stock delisting threats the company has received over the past years?

Atari said that hiring Wilson was the "next step" in its restructuring and that along with David Gardner and Phil Harrison leading parent company Infogrames, Wilson "will be an integral partner in shaping the future of Atari worldwide."

"Atari, Inc., with its world-renowned brand and strong library of game franchises, has a tremendous opportunity in North America. I look forward to working with the Atari team and shareholders to lead Atari, Inc. into its next phase of growth," said Wilson.
