Atari to introduce flashback console

Posted on Wednesday, 8 September 2004 by Speed, source: Fragland
It seems Atari, the games publisher that used to make its own consoles and computers (remember the Atari ST) is in a pretty nostalgic mood as KGW News is reporting that the company will release a new console that is in fact a small version of one of their old 7800's
But it's only one of the nostalgia projects Atari will push into the market then. The second is Atari Flashback, a slightly miniaturized version of the old Atari 7800 from the mid-'80s. It will have 20 games built into it, including "Breakout," "Solaris," "Crystal Castles" and "Battlezone."

Flashback will sell for $45 and include a pair of old-school joysticks

Hmm, that's quite expensive imo. I heard about that re-release from the C64, and I really want that one, it costs only 20 euro's, and since it was way before I was born, I was never able to experience it. Does anyone know if it's already re-released?
