It looks like the horror shooter F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin may not be released in Australia. All this because of the age rating system they utilise down under (you know, like PEGI or ESRB).

Our exotic friends namely don't have an 18+ rating, the closest thing they have is a 15+ rating. This means many games originally are refused classification (e.g. Fallout 3, Silent Hill: Homecoming, the latest Shellshock, all originally blocked). These games then usually are censored to some extent to meet the requirements of the more strict 15+ rating. It is unclear wether or not Warner Brothers Interactive will be doing the same for F.E.A.R. 2 however.
