Australia to send X360's back

Posted on Tuesday, 17 July 2007 by Herrdidi, source: Gamesindustry
ALL EB Game-shops on the Australian 'mainland' are getting requests to send their stock of Premium Xbox360's back to the depot. Earlier the managers were already asked to test their units for possible flaws and malfunctions, but now all consoles are being recalled.

The problem is told to be a problem with the hard drive and the world-famous 'red ring of death'-issue. It's quite noticeable how only the premium packages suffer from these malfunctions.
It is unknown if US or UK consoles will face similar recalls. An EB Games/GameStop representative was not immediately available for comment, and Microsoft has not responded to a request for confirmation.
