Instead of the usual Japanese and American sales, we bring you the Australian and France sales for a change. Does Nintendo dominate in these regions as well or does Microsoft have the bigger slice of the pie? And how about the launch of the PS3?

Australian hardware figures (life to date):


Xbox 360 is out for over a year and is leading in sales, Wii is catching up fast though (on sale since December). PS3 had a very descend launch in March selling more then 35.000 units.

France hardware sales (Jan., Feb., March):


Nintendo’s DS seems unbeatable with over a quarter million units sold in the first three months of 2007. Demand for Wii is high and sales don’t lie. Now 360 is playing catch up with nearly 45k units sold. Playstation 2 holding strong among the newcomers. PS3 had a very good launch with over 80k units sold in just 8 days.
