The Salt Lake Tribune has picked up on a survey conducted by British developer and publisher Codemasters. The results are -much alike the article- interesting and amusing yet should not be taken too serious.

The survey learns us that:

• 21% of all gamers are teenagers
• 47% are twentysomething
• 32% are 50+

And the average age of you -the gamer- is 29. Which could be more or less correct, seen as different studies put the average age of gamers around 27 ... and those were conducted over a year ago :)But the interesting part is the growing amount of older gamers who, according to Codemasters, generally play one to three hours a day on all platforms. Kids... hide your games !

The past two years, a lot of WWII games were brought onto the market and according to British media investigators Xtreme Information the reason for the increase of 'older gamers' can be found there.
